Meet Pauline

I’m Pauline Doran Williams, a Registered Nurse with more than 24 years’ experience specialising in Plastic Surgery Nursing, based near Belfast.

Throughout my career I have worked in breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, aesthetic procedures, burns and traumatic plastic surgery. Since qualifying in medical micropigmentation in 2023, I have worked closely with patients following breast surgery, with leading plastic surgeons regularly referring patients for treatment.

Every treatment is delivered with professionalism, empathy and an understanding of the emotional journey many patients have experienced.

The Treatment Process

What to Expect:

Step 1 – Initial Consultation

We’ll begin with a virtual consultation via telephone, email, or Carebit. During this appointment, we’ll discuss your medical history, treatment goals, and allergies and answer any questions you may have.

Step 2 – Before Your Appointment

You’ll receive detailed information about your treatment, consent forms, and a patch test to complete before your appointment.

Step 3 – Your Treatment

On the day of your treatment, we’ll carefully discuss colour, tone, shape, and placement before creating your bespoke 3D areola tattoo.

The procedure typically takes between one and two hours.

Step 4 – Aftercare

You’ll receive comprehensive aftercare instructions before leaving the clinic. Most patients are able to drive home afterwards.

Step 5 – Review Appointment

Approximately eight weeks later, we’ll review your healed results and, if needed, perform a small colour refresh to achieve the best possible outcome.

Every journey is unique, which is why every areola tattooing treatment is tailored to your individual needs and goals. Whether you’re looking to restore the appearance of the areola following breast surgery, improve symmetry or enhance existing pigmentation, every treatment is carried out with precision, care and attention to detail.

We understand that areola tattooing is about more than appearance. For many, it is an important step in their healing journey, helping to restore confidence and achieve natural-looking results. From your initial consultation through to your completed treatment, we’ll guide and support you every step of the way, ensuring you feel informed, comfortable and confident throughout the process.
